COOPERATION OF O.O. BOHOMOLETS NMU WITH BUREAU OF WHO

The specialists from O.O. Bohomolets NMU took part in organization and performance of Training on rendering the emergency and first medical aid to internally displaced persons for personnel of mobile units, which was held on 12-22, January, 2015 in c. Kyiv.

The training was held within WHO program on support of Ukraine under conditions of crisis and enlargement of access for internally displaced persons and injured from conflict to qualitative medical services. The agreement about establishment of mobile groups to render the services of health care due to the place of residence on 15.12.2014 was signed by WHO, MHC of Ukraine and Ukrainian Society of the Red Cross.

The organizers of the training are Bureau of WHO in Ukraine. Donors’ organizations are the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO) and Foreign Affairs Trade and Development Canada.

The educational module of the Training includes 10 topics, including the course “Management of patients with NID and prevention of NID”, developed by scientists from O.O. Bohomolets NMU and P.L. Shupyka NMAPE.

The participants in working group created the educational methodic provision of the training, including texts of lectures, multimedia presentations, methodological developments of lectures and practical classes, tests for control of knowledge, tasks, etc. The program of course “Management of patients with NID and prevention of NID” was successfully realized on 13-14, January, 2015. The lectures and practical classes were held by employees at department of health care organization and social medicine at O.O. Bohomolets NMU professor Gruzeva T.S., professor Galiyenko L.I., assistant professor Zamkevych V.B., assistant Inshakova G.V. together with employees at department of family medicine in P.L. Shupyka NMAPE professor Matiukha L.F., professor Kovalenko O.Ye., assistant professors Protsiuk O.V., Tytova T.A., Klymenko L.V., etc. The participants in the training thanked the organizers and teachers-trainers.
