NMU TOOK PART IN INTERNATIONAL FORUM

20-21 October 2016 Vasilisa Pysyeva (researcher) and Valentina Celina (head of unit) from Unit of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer at Department of Research participated in the V International Forum “Problems of innovation and the information society” and Workshop ”Practical aspects of technology transfer in higher education”.

Both events were co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ukrainian Scientific technical expertise and information Association “Informatio-Consortium”, State scientific and technical library of Ukraine, Kyiv City State administration.

The speakers of seminar of “Transfer of technology and intellectual property in universities” highlighted current aspects and issues on within the field of intellectual property with the focus on the possibility of commercialization (Tsybulov P.M), described a specific features of accounting and valuation results for completed research projects in relation to intellectual property rights and to be financed from budget of Ukraine (Butnik-Seversky O.B). Practical aspects of technology transfer were showed by reseearhcers from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute” (Ignat V.M). Furthermore, practical aspects for the signing of license agreements were also discussed (Dmytryshyn V.S). An aspects of industrial property acquisition in Ukraine were outlined and particular issues of formal features and professional expertise were discussed (N.L Petrov).

As organizers of the Forum emphisized, the Forum is a convenient platform which is gathered academical workers, practitioners whithin the filed of intellectual property, library workers. Furthermore, the Forum’s participants may find a mutual interensts for research, share information and expeirence, as well as new ideas for development of innovative component of the national economy.

The plenary session was held in the form of a discussion panel aiming to discuss the challenges and opportunities for innovation and information development of Ukraine. At the plenary session were following experts in the field: D.V Cheberkus – Director of Science and Technology of Education of Ukraine; V.S Shovkaliuk – Director of innovation and technology transfer MOS Ukraine; B.V Greenov – Director of the State Fund for Fundamental Research; N.P Kovalyshyn – Head of science, technology and innovation policy management industry and innovation policy KCSA; A.G Zharinova – Director DNTB Ukraine; A. Vasiliev – Director of “Informatio-Consortium”. V.P Chebotarev – Moderator of session and Director UkrINTEI.
