THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER FOR TRAINING TO PERFORMANCE OF OSCE-1 IS ARRANGED AT THE UNIVERSITY

The administration of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University took the decision to establish the special methodological center for maximum implementation of all educational purposes and efficient use if each premise in educational establishment. The arrangement of premises for location of educational center to training of students for performance of objective structured clinical exam OSCI-1 started in the pedestal part of morphological building. The repair works last since 10, January, 2018.

The university administration took a lot of efforts so that the premise, where the warehouse used to be before, could be re-equipped into Center of OSCE. It is planned to establish 12 rooms for each station here, where the students would drill the competencies. As well, the separate entry will be equipped from the side of sanitary hygienic building. All windows within the energy saving program will be replaced for new metal plastic and energy efficient ones. The works on installation of new floor are continued.

The center will anticipate the separate premises, which are adjacent between themselves for each from 12 OSCE stations. The peculiarity is that each station would have its specific material equipment, which clearly supports these purposes that are set to OSCE-1. The teachers will be assigned to station, who according to international standards will perform the assessment due to specially developed check lists, and, where necessary, – there will be he specially trained standard patients. Thus, a student will receive the possibility during limited periods of time to pass through each from 12 OSCE stations according to the plan of exam, and after passage will at once receive the result.
