MEETING OF ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS’ CLUB “ENGLISH SPEAKING CLUB FOR DENTISTS”
The fourth meeting of English speaking students’ club “English Speaking Club for Dentists” took place on 2, March, 2018 in dental building of O.O. Bogomolets NMU. The topic of the meeting is “It in Dentistry”.
The participants in meeting were the students of the 1st course in dental faculty, as well as the guests – foreign students in medical groups of preparatory faculty of T.H. Shevchenko University. They discussed the newest technologies that are used in modern dentistry. The special attention was paid to achievements by professor A.V. Kopchak and postgraduate student D.M. Chornohorskyi in 3D modeling, which is successfully applied at O.O. Bogomolets NMU. The participants in the club could learn the finished goods, as well as the programs, which are used for their manufacture in laboratory.
The experts at the meeting were the dean of dental faculty, professor N.V. Bidenko; director at Dental Medical Center, professor A.V. Kopchak; deputy dean at dental faculty in scientific and educational work, assistant professor V.V. Filonenko; acting director at medical college of O.O. Bogomolets NMU I.M. Kabardinova; employee from laboratory of digital dentistry, postgraduate student D.M. Chornohorskyi.
