MEETING OF STUDENTS FROM THE 3RD COURSE ABOUT PERFORMANCE OF OSCE-1

The meeting of students from the 3rd course about performance of objectivistic structured clinical exam OSCE-1 took place on 3, April, 2018 at conference hall in physical chemical building. The event was started by representatives from Students’ council of medical faculty No 2 Shevchenko Taras and Ramazanova Diana – organizers and initiators of the meeting.

The dean of medical faculty No 2, assistant professor Nataliia Litvinova accented the attention to innovations this year: detailed the organizational moments, timing, place of performance, assessment criteria. Pursuant to analysis of previous experience, the efficient life hacks for successful passage through OSCE. The representatives from departments that traditionally accept the exam were also invited to the meeting with the third year students. The assistant professor at department of propedeutics of inner medicine No 1 Olha Plenova in her report concentrated the attention to peculiarities of therapeutic stations, content of tasks, sources and methods of training. The assistant at department of general surgery No 1 Yelyzaveta Kozachuk mentioned the specifity of surgical stations, requirements to students and peculiarities of materials and tools that will be used at OSCE. The last report about essence of pediatric practical skill was made assistant at department of pediatrics No 4 Yevheniia Burlaka. The pro-rector in scientific activity, assistant professor Olena Stechenko gave the professional responses to additional answers of students.

The event was visited by more than 400 students. Besides, the dean of medical faculty No 3, professor Oksana Vyhovska, deputy deans of medical faculty No 1 Olena Karmazina and Zemfira Morozova, deputy dean of medical faculty No 2 on work with students of the 3rd-4th courses Yuliia Perepelytsia. It was not the last possibility to communicate about OSCE. Later the information about further meetings will be announced. We thank everyone for non-indifferebce to own future!
