LITVINOVA NATALYA YURIYIVNA

Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department of surgery No 4 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU. In 1996 she graduated from Lviv Danylo Galytskyy state medical university under specialty “Medical care” with honors. After its graduation since 1996 until 1999 she studied at master’s courses under specialty “Oncology and oncologic surgery” at Lviv Danylo Galytskyy state medical university.

In 1999 Litvinova N.Yu. was invited by the head at department of surgery No 4 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU professor Mishalov V.G. to the post of assistant at department, since 2013 she has been working at this department as an assistant professor. She passed through probation at Vienna university clinic under specialties “Cardiovascular surgery”, “Transplantology” in 2003 and 2004.

In 2005 she defended the dissertation for acquisition of scientific degree of Candidate of Medicine under specialty “Cardiovascular surgery” at M.M. Amosov Scientific research institute of cardiovascular surgery on topic “Surgical treatment of atherosclerotic occlusion stenotic injuries of brachiocephalic arteries at patients with accompanying ischemic heart disease”.

Doctor of the highest category under specialty “Surgery”.

While working Litvinova N.Yu. showed herself as a skillful clinician, efficient organizer. She has the significant experience in operative interferences in emergency and planned surgery. She possesses the modern methods for diagnostics and surgical interference. She is constantly interested in new medical literature under occupations, is engaged in scientific and inventory work.

She has almost 150 published works. 10 declaration patents for inventions on problems of diagnostics and treatment of vascular pathology, is the co-author of textbooks “Lectures on hospital surgery” in three volumes, “Practicum in surgery – module 1, 2, 4”. She takes part in scientific conferences in vascular surgery.

In 2011 she graduated with honors from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National university, legal faculty/

Litvinova N.Yu. has been working over Doctoral dissertation on topic “Applying the stem cells and factors of cell growth in treatment of chronic critical ischemia of lower extremities”. She has performed with reports of ongoing dissertation work within conferences vascular surgeons. She was awarded the diploma of Kyiv City Council Workers Union of Health and the City Council of Trade Unions. Kyiv “For significant contribution to the development of surgery and professionalism”.

Since 2008 she is the secretary of journal “The heart and vessels”, since 2006 editor of English texts in journal “Surgery of Ukraine”.

In 2015 has been named as assistant of professor in the department of surgery №4.

She is awarded with the order of Saint Martyr Barbara from Ukrainian orthodox church for help to wounded people in Maydan in 2014.

Since 2015 she is lecturer in clinical anatomy in English for foreign students. In 2015 she was tested at the center of British council and received a B2 level. She has Certificate of referent-translator medical literature. In 2015 successfully completed training to improve management systems in higher education and training course to prepare internal auditors of quality management system. She is one of the internal auditors NMU.

Since 2014 she is the deputy dean at medical faculty No 2 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

Since 2015 – dean of medical faculty №2 at O.O.Bohomolets NMU.

DEPUTY DEAN OF MEDICAL FACULTY NO 2 ON WORK WITH THE 1ST-2RD COURSES

KEFELI-YANOVSKA OLENA IHORIVNA

Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department of human anatomy.

She was born in city Kyiv, continues the family dynasty and is a doctor in the fourth generation.

After graduation from O.O. Bohomolets NMU in 2000 she passed through internship in the specialty “Therapy”.

In 2000 she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at department of human anatomy in O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

In 2001 Kefeli-Yanovska O.I. was invited by the head at department of human anatomy at O.O. Bohomolets NMU professor Bobryk I.I. to the post of assistant at department, where she is working until now.

In 2014 she successfully defended the dissertation for acquisition of scientific degree of Candidate of Medicine.

Since 2014 she is the deputy dean at medical faculty No 2 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

In 2016 has been named as assistant of professor in the department of human anatomy.

While working Kefeli-Yanovska O.I. showed herself as a demanding teacher, capable organizer.

She is the author of 12 published works, the co-author of academic methodic textbook tests “Krok-1”.

DEPUTY DEAN OF MEDICAL FACULTY NO 2 ON WORK WITH THE 5TH-6TH COURSES

SERGIIENKO TAMARA VOLODYMYRIVNA

Teacher at department of Ukrainian studies. In 2002 she graduated from philological faculty at M.P. Dragomanov National pedagogical university. Later in the same year she started working at department of Ukrainian studies. Since 2002 until 2004 she worked at the post of senior laboratory assistant. In 2004 due to the contest she was elected to the post of teacher at department. She is responsible for work of section of Russian language as a foreign language for attendants of preparatory department. She teaches such disciplines as “Ukrainian language (due to occupational direction)”, Russian language as a foreign language for attendants of preparatory department, Russian language as a foreign language for students of English speaking form of study.

The theme of dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. Topic: “The Formation of professional communication skills of students of the preparatory department.”

There is a co-author of the textbook “Ukrainian as a foreign language” for students of the preparatory department.

Actively involved in scientific-methodical seminars department of Ukrainian, international and national conferences. Author of scientific and methodical publications.

Since 2014 she is the deputy dean at medical faculty No 2 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

 

DEPUTY DEAN OF MEDICAL FACULTY NO 2 ON WORK WITH THE 3rd-4thCOURSES

Perepelitsa Yuliia

Graduated Bogomolets National Medical University in 2010 year on the specialty “Medical Psychology”. From 01.08.2010 works at the Department of Pathophysiology of the National Medical University named by O. O. Bohomolets.

Works in the direction of studying mechanisms of disturbance of protein metabolism in non-gas acidosis. From 2013 to 2015 she was the artist of the SRW “Mechanisms of the disturbance of protein and carbohydrate metabolism in the change of the acid-base state”.

Corresponds to the Department of Pathophysiology for organizing and conducting workouts for missed classes by students.

From 2017 year is deputy dean of medical faculty № 2 on work with the 3rd-4thcourses.

Barabash Svitlana Mykolaiivna

 

She graduated from Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University under specialty “Ukrainian language and literature.”

She started pedagogical work at the National Aviation University as a practitioner faculty of linguistics and sociology lecturer, senior lecturer in Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute, served as senior curator. She worked as literary editor of Category 1 Department of editing and proofreading publishing “NAU-print.”

From 2013 works as a teacher at department of Ukrainian studies at O.O.Bohomolets National Medical University. Teaches the following courses: “Russian language” (for foreign students), “Ukrainian language as a foreign language” elective courses.

In 20015/16 she taught lectures and practice on the Ukrainian language and literature at the preparatory courses for students.

Passed training courses in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the department of methods of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. In 2013 passed internship at the Department of Russian Language Institute Foreign Languages National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.

In the 2015/16 academic. gg. served as technical secretary during the training and certification of graduates NMU.

Since 2016 serves as associate dean of the medical faculty number 2.

Working on dissertation research.

Actively involved in scientific-methodical seminars department of Ukrainian studies, international and national conferences. Author of scientific and methodical publications.

She was granted gratitude for the professionalism and active participation in organizing and conducting the All-Ukrainian Conference “Social communications: state, problems and trends”; participation in training camp and seminar with heads of personnel departments of companies and institutions that are managed by the National Space Agency of Ukraine; for active participation in public life of the Institute of Air and Space Law and Mass Communications of the National Aviation University.

HISTORY OF MEDICAL FACULTY nO 2 AT o.O. BOHOMOLETS NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY


The first dean – talented pedagogue, famous scientist, Doctor of Medicine, professor at department of phthisiology Ivaniuta Orest Maksymovych. Head at dean’s office since 1971 until 1979.

Since 1979 until 1985 the dean was Byts Yuriy Viktorovych, Doctor of Medicine, professor, laureate of State Prize of UkrSSR, who worked over the problems on metabolism disorders of vascular wall and atherosclerosis modeling. At present moment he works as the head at department of pathological physiology.

 

Since 1985 until 1988 the head of faculty was Khmelevskyy Yuriy Volodymyrovych, Doctor of Medicine, laureate of Palladin Prize, author of 4 monographs, 150 scientific works. His works are devoted to the issue on exchange of vitamins and co-enzymes, their application in treatment of cardiovascular pathology. At present moment professor Khmelevskyy Yu.V. is working at department of biological chemistry.

Since 1988 until 1990 the dean of medical faculty No 2 was Baltaytis Yuliy Viktorovych, Doctor of Medicine, professor, pupil of professor Matiashyn I.M., head at department of faculty surgery, in the past head and founder of Republican proctologic center, author of 150 scientific works, 4 monographs, devoted to the issues of endoscopic surgery, surgical gastroenterology, proctology.

The dean’s office of medical faculty No 2 was located in this building at the address of Shevchenko Boulevard, 13 until 1984.

The medical buildings of the oldest city clinical hospital, on which base the clinical departments of medical faculty No 2 worked and continue working.

The date for establishment of medical faculty No 2 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university is 1971 when the medical faculties No 1 and 2 were organized on the base of medical faculty. This corresponded to the needs of that time in organization and coordination of educational process, improvement of methodic and scientific work at Kyiv medical institute, assisted to efficient solution of human resources policy.

23 years period in activity of both medical faculties confirmed the expedience in their separate organizational and structural functioning.

The first dean of faculty – professor Ivaniuta Orest Maksymovych, famous organizer, talented pedagogue, clinician, public leader. He worked at the post of dean since 1971 until 1979, at the same time he was the dean of evening department at Kyiv medical institute.

Significant scientific achievements of the first dean. He is the author of 8 monographs, 160 scientific works, inventions. For some years he worked as director in Kyiv T.G. Yanovskyy SRI of phthisiology and pulmonology.

Since 1979 until 1985 the dean was professor Byts Yuriy Viktorovych, pupil of famous Soviet pathological physiologist, corresponding member in AMS of USSR M.N. Zayka, corresponding member in APS of Ukraine, laureate of State Prize of UkrSSR, honorary worker of higher school of Ukraine, laureate of O.O. Bohomolets prize. During the period when Byts Yu.V. was the dean, in 1982 they completed the construction of the most modern students’ hostel No 7, and in 1983 the medical faculty No 2 was awarded with Honorary Red Flag for excellent performances in training of medical staff. The creative, organizational and educational activity of Byts Yu.V. at the dean’s office enjoyed the great respect and honor among the students and employees at departments of faculty.

He also has the significant scientific achievements in the field of medicine. He is the author of original experimental model of atherosclerosis and energy-deficit concept of its pathogenesis. Byts Yu.V. – co-author of textbook “Pathological physiology”, which third (Ukrainian) re-edition was made under his supervision. During years of work he assisted to implementation of material technical equipment of dean’s office, implementation of organizational and structural forms of activity.

Since 1985 until 1988 the dean of faculty was professor Khmelevskyy Yuriy Volodymyrovych, laureate of academician Palladin Prize, head at department of bioorganic and biological chemistry at NMU (1976-1997), deputy chairman in Scientific Council at MHC of UkrSSR (1970-1976), member in editorial board of “Ukrainian biochemical journal”, member in specialized board at Institute of biochemistry at NAS of Ukraine on defense of Doctor’s and Candidate’s dissertations, author of approximately 200 scientific works, 10 monographs, some textbooks.

Since 1988 until 1990 the dean of faculty was professor Baltaytis Yuliy Viktorovych, pupil of professor I.M. Matiashyn, head at department of faculty surgery at Kyiv medical institute (1989-1993), director in Ukrainian republican proctologic center, author of 4 monographs, 150 scientific works on urgent problems of surgical gastroenterology, proctology, emergency and reconstructive restorative surgery.

e2-0-4Since 1990 the dean of faculty is corresponding member in AMS of Ukraine, professor Netiazhenko Vasyl Zakharovych, head at department of propedeutics of internal diseases No 1 at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, Honorary of Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, active member in European society of cardiologists, chief editor of journals “The art of treatment”, “Clinical pharmacology, physiology, biochemistry” and member in editorial board of some special journals, in particular, “Medical care”, “Medicines of Ukraine”, “Ukrainian cardiologic journal”, “Ukrainian therapeutic journal”, etc.

Netiazhenko V.Z. – author and co-author of textbook and 6 study guides for students of higher medical schools of III-IV accreditation levels. The main scientific directions are problems of cardiology, in particular, acute coronary syndrome, hemostasis, and emergency conditions. He is the author of 21 monographs, 440 scientific works, 7 inventions, 15 patents.

The numerous improvements in different spheres of faculty activity were made under supervision of dean Netiazhenko V.Z. at the faculty – the material technical base was significantly improved, the computerization of technical work was made, the level of educational work among students, their living conditions and level of discipline at hostels were improved.

The illustrative decoration of the dean’s office with materials that describe the pedagogical, educational, scientific, publishing, methodic and organizational activity of departments at faculty was significantly increased.

The graduates from faculty work in different spheres of medicine in various regions of Ukraine, as well as outside it – India, China, Iran, Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Jordan, Syria, etc.

The following famous scientists taught at faculty departments, learnt with their mastery: academician in AMS of USSR Romodanov A.P., corresponding member in AMS of USSR Grytsiuk O.Y., corresponding member in AMS of USSR Mankovskyy B.M., laureate of State Prize of USSR Zemskov V.S., professor Voronkov G.L., professor Goligorskyy S.D., professor Kurylin I.A., professor Nalyvayko D.G., professor Pototskyy I.I., professor Putylin M.I., professor Slynchak S.M., professor Cherenko M.P., professor Shlapak T.V., professor Schepotin B.M., professor Yarosh O.A. and other famous scientists.

Since 1971 the medical faculty No 2 trained over 6.5 thousands of highly qualified doctors.
