2,143 ENTRANTS REPLENISHED THE ROWS OF STUDENTS AT NMU
On the eve of the new academic year the Admission commission of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university performed the comparative analysis of quantitative and qualitative indices for persons, enrolled to the first course of university, with 2015.
This year 2,143 persons will become the first year students in one of the best medical universities in the country – O.O. Bohomolets NMU. It is they who will continue the history of medical university that is of 175 years old.
757 first year students will study at the places of state order and 1,386 – on contractual basis.
Future students and now enrolled entrants live in all regions of Ukraine. The most number of enrolled persons is from Kyiv region (8.8%), Chernihiv region (5.8%) and Zhytomyr region (5.1%).
Among future medical first year students there are mainly women – 72.3% (in 2015 – 71.1%), men – 27.7% (last year – 28.9%).
The number of entrants, who finished the study with golden/silver medal or diploma with honors this year, is 22.7%.
In 2016 the number of first year students-residents in c. Kyiv increased by 10.3%. 499 residents in Kyiv became the first year students of O.O. Bohomolets NMU that corresponds to 30.7% from total number of students.
23.3% from enrolled persons are the graduates from medical / pharmaceutical higher schools of the I-II accreditation level.
