WORK OF MEDICAL AID POSTS AT UNIVERSITY
The structure of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university includes the medical aid post, where a student can always receive the first medical aid from qualified specialists.
There are 2 medical aid posts at O.O. Bohomolets NMU during academic year. In summer the medical aid posts are transformed into first aid posts for students, who have a rest at sports and health camp “Medic” and into medical aid post for admission of university entrants and employees of university during entrance campaign.
Approximately 200 persons addressed for medical aid to medical aid post of NMU during work of admission commission. Over 270 addresses of students and employees at rest were registered during the summer period for work of medical aid post at SHC “MEDIC”. Among the most popular complaints of students there were the bites of harvest bugs, stab wounds, allergy, ARVI, strokes, otitis and pharyngitis.
During academic year the medical aid posts of O.O. Bohomolets NMU are located at the addresses: Shutov str., 14 (Students’ quarter) and Peremogy Avenue, 34. The interns, postgraduate students, Resident Medical Practitioners, render the medical aid to the students, the responsible doctors watch for the work of medical aid posts.
The work of medical aid posts includes rendering the first medical aid, sending the sick patients to narrow specialist and prevention of diseases.
The workers of medical aid posts at university take care of students and are responsible for their health. The university management takes care that the students would fell safe and would have the possibility to appeal for the aid as soon as possible.
The employees of medical aid posts express the gratitude to the rector of university, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor Kateryna Amosova, pro-rector on scientific pedagogical, therapeutic work postgraduate education professor Oleksandr Naumenko and pro-rector on scientific pedagogical work and perspective development, professor Oleksandr Nykytiuk for provision with medical agents and organization of work for medical aid posts both during academic year and in summer.
