THE EMPLOYEES AT DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY NO 2 PASSED THROUGH PROBATION AT WROCLAW MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (POLAND)

The employees at department of surgery No 2 at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University – professor Valerii Teplyi and assistant professor Andrii Tsyhanok since 16 until 27, January were passing through probation at Wroclaw Medical University (Poland) at department of surgery and oncology. The department is based in new university clinic for 6 500 beds (one of the largest clinics in Poland), which head is Woitsekh Keilain.

During probation the specialists from NMU got acquainted with the structure and history of Wroclaw Medical University. Polish experience in organization of surgical aid, use of laparoscopy at treatment of benign and malign diseases in abdominal cavity organs. The special attention was paid to the organization of pedagogical process at department of surgery, including working with English speaking students.

The high level of material provision at university and its Mikulich Radetskyi university clinic impressed very much.

At the end of probation the employees had the meeting with university rector Marek Ziatek, who handed over the certificates about probation.

Let’s remind that the probation of employees and students of NMU in Wroclaw Medical University takes place according to bilateral agreement between two establishments for assistance to international relations department and Center of Polish Ukrainian Scientific and Cultural Cooperation of NMU.
